	Dear Trash Cruiser, You can foil the cat who gets into wastebaskets by using a single, marvelous innovation: a can with a lid. Why struggle with your cat if a pop-up lid fixes the problem? Another simple alternative: Put the basket behind a cupboard door. Other ideas include… double-sided tape along the rim to discourage the annoying (and messy) behavior or mousetraps in the top of the trash to startle your cat… Lid it or hide it …that’s my advice! *Tabby*
